A leading player in the industrial automation sector is looking for a high-performing Sales Engineer to drive business development and key account growth within the FMCG market across Gauteng. This role is best suited to a technically strong sales professional with a proven ability to sell automation solutions into production and manufacturing environments.
Non-Negotiable Requirements:
- Proven external sales experience within industrial automation
- Strong exposure to the FMCG manufacturing sector
- National Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical qualification
- Solid understanding of sensors, instrumentation, safety systems, and automation solutions
- Existing network within FMCG plants and production facilities in Gauteng
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel
Job Experience & Skills Required:
- New business development and account management
- Technical solution selling and client support
- Ability to identify application opportunities and provide tailored automation solutions
- Strong communication and relationship-building ability
- Experience working with engineers, maintenance teams, and plant management
- Self-managed and target-driven individual
