Position: Project Manager
Location: Pretoria East
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to join our team at Meridium Construction. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing multiple construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.
Minimum Requirements:
• Matric Certificate (relevant tertiary qualification in Construction Management or related field will be an advantage)
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the Construction industry
• Strong knowledge of Disciplinary Code and HSE policies
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and trades simultaneously
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Experience in quality assurance and stock control
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transport
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, manage, and oversee construction projects from initiation to completion
• Ensure compliance with HSE regulations, company policies, and disciplinary codes
• Manage and coordinate all trades and subcontractors on site
• Monitor project progress, budgets, and timelines, ensuring delivery within scope
• Conduct regular site inspections to maintain quality control standards
• Manage procurement of materials and control stock levels effectively
• Prepare and present progress reports to management and stakeholders
• Resolve on-site issues, delays, and conflicts promptly and professionally
• Ensure proper record keeping and documentation for each project
