Production & Machine Operation
- Operate plastic injection moulding machines in accordance with approved work instructions and setup sheets
- Assist with machine and mould setups only when trained and authorised
- Load raw materials into hoppers and ensure correct material identification and handling
- Remove finished components and conduct in-process visual inspections
- Operate printing and secondary processing equipment (pad printing, hot foil, trimming, packaging, rework) as required
- Achieve production targets, cycle times, and shift output requirements
- Complete daily production and shift handover records accurately (manual or Shopware systems)
Quality Control
- Identify and report moulding defects including short shots, flash, sink marks, warpage, burns, and contamination
- Segregate and clearly identify non-conforming parts.
- Follow standard work instructions and quality control procedures at all times
- Record quality checks and production data accurately
Safety, Health & Environment
- Comply fully with all safety rules, procedures, and PPE requirements
- Report unsafe conditions, near misses, incidents, or equipment faults immediately.
- Perform basic machine cleaning and routine checks as instructed
- Maintain housekeeping standards in line with 5S requirements
Equipment & Escalation
- Do not adjust machine parameters unless authorised
- Report mould, machine, auxiliary equipment, or process abnormalities to supervision immediately.
- Support maintenance and setters by providing accurate fault descriptions
General
- Perform any other work-related duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by management
- Perform administrative tasks such as daily target sheets and usage reports
KPI’s
- Quality (Complaints, warranties, rejects, scrap)
- Delivery: (OEE performance, OTD)

- Morale: (Safety, Injuries, Absenteeism)

Qualifications
- Matriculated with an acumen for operating Injection Moulding machines
- Previous injection moulding or manufacturing experience advantageous
- Shift work compulsory; Be willing to work overtime when required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced & high-pressure production environment
