Products and Software Support

Job Overview: We are a Reliability Solutions Engineering Company seeking a 1st Line Product and Software Support Technician in Boksburg. As the initial contact point for our clients, you’ll manage incident logging, coordinate resolutions, and communicate updates for multiple incidents and requests.

Education/Experience/Qualifications/Skills:

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Grade 12
  • CompTIA A+ and N+ certification
  • Tertiary IT qualification (advantageous)

Experience:

  • Proven ability to interact with technical professionals
  • Technical customer support experience (preferred)
  • Proficiency in programming and databases

Duties:

  • Validate and clarify ticket-described issues
  • Ensure reported issues are genuine, not user misunderstandings
  • Address all how-to queries
  • Resolve end-user issues via Learning Management System UI
  • Reproduce and document simple bugs before escalation
  • Drive continual improvement in product and service quality

Desired Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Customer service mindset; prior experience beneficial
  • Effective troubleshooting skills (logical thinking)

  • Work autonomously and collaboratively within a team
  • Interface with customers, ensuring high satisfaction levels
