Duties:
- Managing the full payroll function for 300 – 400 salaried employees on Sage Premier.
- Processing overtime, claims, and commissions on Sage ESS.
- Conducting monthly reconciliations of overtime, claims, and commissions.
- Ensuring accurate leave management and control on Sage ESS.
- Handling administrative tasks related to clocking systems.
- Timely communication of payroll changes or challenges to Supervisor/Manager.
- Reviewing and maintaining payroll processing systems to ensure accurate and timely transactions.
- Processing leave, employee benefits, and maintaining personal files accurately.
- Ensuring financial capturing and processing comply with company policies and procedures.
- Updating employee details, terminations, pay rates, and monthly inputs accurately.
- Bi-Annual reconciliation and EMP501 submission via E@syFile, along with generating employee IRP5’s.
- Monthly reconciliation, submission of PAYE/SDL/UIF EMP201’s via E@syFile.
- Handling monthly reconciliation and payment requests for third-party payments.
- Proficiency in recon/submission and MIBCO regulations.
- Applying for tax directives and managing IT88’s.
- Submission of month-end, GL, salary journals to Finance Department.
- Ensuring compliance with Industrial labor and tax regulations.
- Maintaining confidentiality and discretion.
- Timely processing of necessary documents and reports.
- Annual and monthly reconciliation for payroll leave management.
- Keeping updated with company policies and ensuring strict adherence.
- Distributing payslips accurately to various branches.
- Assisting with past and present payroll queries, department audits, and occasional HR tasks.
Minimum Requirements:
- Payroll Diploma or similar qualification.
- 5-8 years of experience as a Payroll Administrator in the Automotive Industry.
- Code 08 license.
- Familiarity with MIBCO regulations.
- Excellent skills in Excel, ODBC, and VIP Premier/ESS system.
