Immediate requirement for a Personal Assistant – Irene

Job Overview: Seeking a Personal Assistant to join our company. Ideal candidate should possess the following:

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  1. Secretarial or office administration diploma
  2. Proficiency in computer operations
  3. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  4. Valid South African driver’s license and personal vehicle
  5. South African citizenship required

Daily Responsibilities: The hired personal assistant for the Company Director will be responsible for:

  1. Providing secretarial and administrative support
  2. Managing document filing and control
  3. Opening client files and acquiring necessary documents as per Director’s needs
  4. Creating, typing, and editing reports, documents, and presentations (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  5. Acquainting with relevant tariffs, policies, and procedures of municipalities, metros, and Eskom
  6. Logging and resolving queries with Municipalities and Eskom
  7. Handling invoice completion and distribution
  8. Drafting basic letters and advocate’s briefs
  9. Managing Director’s schedule
  10. Overseeing client birthdays and sending appropriate messages promptly
  11. Adhering to company policies regarding processes, version control, and document management
  12. Assisting with reasonable tasks requested
  13. Performing tasks accurately and within stipulated timelines
  14. Upholding customer service excellence and the Company’s reputation
  15. Attending to personal tasks as directed by the Director:
  • Collecting and delivering various items
  • Conducting basic grocery shopping
  • Managing personal appointments (doctors, vet, etc.)
  • Handling license renewals, cell phone queries, and similar tasks
