Job Summary
Located in Pretoria-East, this role involves electrical/electronic design activities focusing on vehicles. It requires managing external suppliers and subcontractors.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduate Degree in Electronic Engineering or B-Tech Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
SOFTWARE CAPABILITY
- Preferably: Familiarity with Unigraphics or other CAD software
- Siemens Teamcenter 11 or relevant PDM system knowledge is advantageous but not mandatory
EXPERIENCE
- 4 to 6 years of Electrical Engineering experience in the Automotive industry
- Previous exposure in the military vehicle environment is beneficial
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Electrical design aspects related to automotive vehicles
- Project engineering tasks involving Electrical/Electronic system engineering
- Managing partnerships in Electrical Design and Development
- Implementing and qualifying designs, typically up to manufacturing Baseline
- Addressing issues in fielded systems, both locally and internationally
- Overseeing all aspects of electrical design, development, simulation, and testing
