Electrical Specialist/Engineer

Job Summary

Our client, a power solutions company in Johannesburg, seeks an Electrical Specialist/Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate should be confident, proactive in problem-solving, and capable of effectively handling various tasks. The role involves expertise in Electrical Engineering, specifically in repairs, maintenance, and control systems within factory settings. The position requires frequent travel, making proficiency in French advantageous due to client interaction abroad.

Requirements

• Proficiency in French is advantageous
• Electrical Engineering qualifications (ND, BTech, or BEng) are essential
• 4-10 years of work experience in the field
• Experience in the Telecommunication sector is beneficial
• Prior experience working in Africa is advantageous
• Proficiency in working with generators is required
• Essential experience in control systems, maintenance, repairs, and some design work within Electrical Engineering

Responsibilities

• Approximately two weeks of travel per month required
• Conducting client training on system functionalities
• Work areas: Roodepoort and Rosebank
• Salary Range: R35,000 – R65,000 per month (dependent on experience)
• Immediate availability for the starting date
