Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Qualified or Semi-Qualified Electrician to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to lead installation teams, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standard. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong work ethic, excellent bilingual communication skills, and a commitment to reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead, manage, and mentor on-site electrical installation teams.
• Perform electrical installations, maintenance, and fault-finding on commercial and industrial systems.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with SANS 10142 and other relevant safety regulations.
• Coordinate with project managers to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Manage on-site resources, including materials and equipment.
• Perform diagnostics and repairs, with a focus on refrigeration electrical systems where applicable.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Essential:
• Qualification: Certified as a Qualified or Semi-Qualified Electrician (e.g., Trade Test, NQF Level 4).
• Leadership: Demonstrable ability to lead and manage small teams effectively.
• Languages: Full professional proficiency in both English and Afrikaans (reading, writing, and speaking).
• Driver’s License: A valid and unendorsed driver’s license is essential.
• Transport: Must have your own reliable transport to and from work.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work overtime and weekends as required by project deadlines.
• Personal Attributes: Must have sober habits and be a non-smoker.
Advantageous:
• Significant hands-on experience in refrigeration and HVAC electrics will be highly regarded.
