We are seeking a Business Development Manager to establish and lead a new digital marketing services department. This role will focus on providing qualified leads within the motoring, commercial vehicle, and farm equipment industries. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing a lead management system, building a team, and driving sales through digital marketing strategies.
Responsibilities:
•System Development: Project manage the creation of an Integrated Management System for lead and content management, booking, and reporting. This includes defining requirements for developers.
•Team Building: Recruit and manage a team of digital marketers and financial lead moderators for the initial MVP phase, and establish the processes they will use.
•Digital Marketing Execution: Develop and implement digital marketing strategies across platforms such as Facebook, Google, TikTok, and Microsoft to generate qualified leads.
•Sales and Client Management: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, pitch and present proposals, and negotiate contracts with clients.
•Lead Qualification: Design and implement lead qualification and scoring processes, including financial moderation, to ensure lead quality.
•Sales Targets: Meet sales targets and revenue goals as set by the company.
•Reporting and Analysis: Maintain records of sales activity and provide regular reports on performance.
•Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with other departments to ensure effective service delivery.
Requirements:
•Minimum of five years’ experience in marketing or sales, with a focus on digital marketing.
•Proven experience in business development or sales roles.
•Familiarity with digital marketing platforms and tools (Facebook, Google, TikTok, Microsoft, etc.).
•Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
•Ability to manage projects and develop systems.
•Experience in lead qualification and scoring.
•Strong organizational and time-management skills.
•Ability to recruit and manage a small team.
•Experience in the automotive, commercial vehicle or farm equipment industry is a plus.
