Job Overview

A leading workforce solutions provider is seeking a driven and results-oriented Business Development Consultant to grow new business and manage client relationships within a B2B environment. The role focuses on generating new opportunities, delivering tailored staffing/service solutions, and achieving sales and revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve monthly sales, revenue, and activity targets

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities nationwide

  • Prepare and present proposals, costings, and client solutions

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships

  • Negotiate and finalize Terms of Business (TOB) and Service Level Agreements (SLA)

  • Ensure accurate completion of credit applications, contracts, and documentation

  • Provide operational handover to ensure successful service delivery

  • Liaise with internal departments including Operations and Debtors

  • Submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and ethical sales practices

  • Stay updated on labour legislation and industry requirements

Minimum Requirements

  • Matric (tertiary qualification advantageous)

  • Minimum 4 years B2B service sales experience with a proven track record

  • Experience in Temporary Employment Services (TES) / Staffing / Recruitment (advantageous)

  • Knowledge of South African labour legislation (BCEA, LRA, Bargaining Councils)

  • Strong presentation and public speaking skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication

  • Computer literacy (MS Office)

  • Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle

  • Willingness to travel nationally

Working Hours & Benefits

  • Monday to Friday: 08:00 – 16:30

  • Overtime as required
