Administration
Administration is responsible of the company’s daily operations, projects and the planning of long term strategies.
The day-to-day operations may include individual or team work, supervising and motivating staff members, hiring new employees and reporting the main aspects of the business.
To be an administrator there are no mandatory qualifications, however if you aim to reach top positions it is advised to start by getting an Administration Bachelor’s degree which takes about four years to be complete.
The post-graduate course is called MBA (Master of Business Administration) and takes from one to two years to be complete.
PA/Secretary
PA stands for Personal Assistant and sometimes personal assistant is called executive secretary, personal or private secretary.
The role of a PA is to manage daily activities, time management and meetings schedule.
A PA activity may also include answering calls, taking notes, emailing etc.
This area is usually open to all graduates, however a degree in business management may increase your chances.
