Job Overview
Excellent Electrical Projects is seeking 2 qualified and experienced Millwrights to join their team on a 24-month fixed-term contract. The successful candidates will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment and machinery, ensuring optimal plant and equipment performance.
Key Responsibilities
Install, maintain and repair electrical and mechanical machinery and equipment.
Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance on plant and equipment.
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults.
Perform inspections and identify potential equipment failures.
Carry out planned maintenance and breakdown repairs.
Ensure machinery and equipment operate safely and efficiently.
Assist with equipment installations, modifications and commissioning.
Follow all company health, safety and environmental procedures.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
Work closely with other maintenance and technical teams to minimise downtime.
Ensure all work is completed to the required quality and safety standards.
Minimum Requirements & Qualifications
N6 qualification or National Diploma equivalent.
Recognised Millwright Trade Test.
Minimum 5 years’ post-qualification experience.
Strong electrical and mechanical maintenance knowledge.
Ability to diagnose and resolve equipment faults effectively.
Good understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a technical team.
Valid driver’s licence would be advantageous.
