Key Responsibilities:
* The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records for the company.
* Recording, reconciling, and verifying all financial transactions in accordance with accounting standards.
* Processing payments, invoices, and receipts efficiently and accurately.
* Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
* Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements.
* Ensuring compliance with tax regulations, statutory obligations, and company policies.
* Managing and reconciling general ledger accounts.
* Monitoring and managing cash flow to ensure operational sustainability.
* Providing audit support by preparing and submitting required documentation.
Requirements & Qualifications:
– To be considered for this role, you must have:
– A Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or an equivalent qualification.
– A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in a Property or Law Firm environment.
– Proven experience in bookkeeping and financial record management.
– Demonstrated people management and interpersonal skills.
– Knowledge of tax and statutory compliance requirements.
– Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite.
