Tshiqi Zebediela Inc. is looking for motivated and experienced Legal Debt Collection Agents to join our professional debt recovery team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in finance, legal compliance, or complex debt collection to grow within a reputable legal firm.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct late-stage debt collection in line with company policies and applicable legal frameworks.
• Engage professionally with debtors via phone, email, and other approved communication channels.
• Negotiate and manage repayment arrangements while ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Support enforcement actions and manage cases through to finalisation.
• Handle complex matters such as liquidations, deceased estates, business rescue, and insolvent debt collection.
• Maintain accurate case notes, reports, and documentation.
• Achieve daily and weekly collection KPIs.
• Uphold professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical standards at all times.
Requirements
• Qualification: NQF Level 6 in Finance or Credit Control, Diploma in Paralegal Studies, or Diploma in Law.
• Experience: 2–3 years in debt collection, credit control, or a legal environment.
• Strong knowledge of liquidation, deceased estates, business rescue, and insolvency processes.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
