Are you passionate about agriculture and eager to grow your career in milling? Our client is looking for a motivated Miller Apprentice to join their team and learn the ropes of cereal handling, milling, and starch extraction!
What You’ll Be Doing:
Monitor and control the mechanical and operational efficiency of production facilities, equipment, and plant resources in bulk cereal handling, milling, and starch extraction.
Requirements:
– National Senior Certificate or NQF 4 equivalent
– SAGMA registration (advantageous)
– Basic computer proficiency
– Basic understanding of the agricultural industry
– Keen interest in the field of study
– Knowledge of SharePoint, Kairos & C-Works
– Basic understanding of milling production processes
– Basic knowledge of quality control measures
– Familiarity with preventative maintenance
– Understanding of relevant regulations
