Salary Range: R18,000 – R25,000
A destination restaurant in Groot Brakriver is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Front of House Manager to lead and elevate the service team. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a high-volume à la carte environment and is passionate about delivering top-tier guest experiences.
– You’ll take full ownership of front-of-house operations, ensuring every guest feels welcomed and valued.
– Proven experience in senior FOH management is essential, especially in upscale à la carte dining (not hotel or lodge-based).
– Excellent communication and team-building skills are key, along with strong organizational and decision-making abilities.
– You should be proficient in POS systems and comfortable interpreting basic operational or financial reports.
– You’ll lead, train, schedule, and inspire FOH staff to uphold the highest standards of service and professionalism.
– Responsibilities include managing reservations and walk-ins, maintaining FOH cleanliness and readiness, and enforcing service etiquette and appearance standards.
– You’ll ensure consistent adherence to health, safety, and regulatory standards while monitoring FOH inventory and managing supply orders.
– You’ll also onboard new FOH team members in collaboration with senior leadership and act as the primary point of contact for guest relations.
– Working hours: 7:30 am to close, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
