Office Assistant – Tour Operator Company (Ottery Area)

A well-established and reputable Tour Operator is seeking an experienced Office Assistant to join their dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong administrative and accounting support background, with excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
• Minimum of 3 – 5 years’ experience in an office or account’s assistant role.
• Exceptional attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Proven ability to produce accurate reconciliations.
• Fully computer literate with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Professional communication skills for liaising with both internal teams and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:
• Creditors Reconciliations Support:
o Organizing incoming invoices.
o Ensuring VAT compliance on all invoices.
o Verifying invoices against vouchers and contract rates.
o Communicating with consultants and suppliers regarding any queries or missing information.
o Requesting outstanding invoices and supplier statements as needed.
• Cash Expense Reconciliations Assistance:
o Supporting both Accounts and Operations teams.
• Reservations Support:
o Assisting with booking and amending accommodation bookings.
• Travel Documentation Preparation:
o Supporting Operations with the preparation of travel itineraries and related documentation.
• General administrative and accounting tasks as required.

General Information:
• Location: Office-based in the Ottery Area.
• Own transport is preferred.
• Remuneration: Salary is negotiable depending on experience.
