Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
- Ensure timely and accurate general ledger maintenance and account reconciliations.
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, fixed assets, and inventory accounting.
- Manage end-of-month and end-of-year closing processes.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
- Monitor internal controls and suggest process improvements.
- Support tax planning and compliance with all local, regional, and national regulations.
- Collaborate with business units to provide financial insights that support decision-making.
- Lead and mentor junior accounting staff.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent certification preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, ideally in a group or holding company environment.
- Strong understanding of IFRS and local tax regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Sage Intacc or similar ERP systems) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Fluent in English.
