Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
  • Ensure timely and accurate general ledger maintenance and account reconciliations.
  • Oversee accounts payable/receivable, fixed assets, and inventory accounting.
  • Manage end-of-month and end-of-year closing processes.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
  • Monitor internal controls and suggest process improvements.
  • Support tax planning and compliance with all local, regional, and national regulations.
  • Collaborate with business units to provide financial insights that support decision-making.
  • Lead and mentor junior accounting staff.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent certification preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, ideally in a group or holding company environment.
  • Strong understanding of IFRS and local tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Sage Intacc or similar ERP systems) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Fluent in English.
