KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
- Wiring and assemble of electrical panels, ensuring proper connections
- Work with contractors, overseeing electrical installations and ensuring compliance.
- Following up on due dates and tracking/scheduling.
- Troubleshoot and install electrical and automation systems
- Working with SCADA systems
- PLC programming. Delta
- Ordering/buying from suppliers
- Use Excel for data entry, reporting, and documentation
- Ensure projects are completed and done with safety
- Work in a team environment
REQUIREMENTS
- Grade 12
- Tertiary qualification in Automation or Electrical Engineering
- Relevant certifications (for example: Electrical Wiring, PLC Programming etc)
- Working knowledge of electrical codes and standards
- 3 years experience working in a similar role
- Experience reading and interpreting electrical schematics
- Hands-on experience wiring panels and troubleshooting electrical systems
- Familiarity with working with contractors
- Be computer literate and proficiency in Excel for documentation, tracking, and reporting
- PLC programming experience preferred
