Job Summary

Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric qualification.
  • Preferred: Relevant Bookkeeping or Financial qualification.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel at an intermediate level.
  • Own vehicle and valid Driver’s License.
  • Familiarity with fundamental accounting procedures.
  • Advantageous: Knowledge or previous exposure to QuickBooks.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide reporting to the Head of Finance and General Manager.
  • Perform bookkeeping and general accounting tasks.
  • Reconcile and process Goods Received Notes (GRNs) and Goods Returned Vouchers (GRVs) on online accounts.
  • Create and manage spreadsheets for organizing financial data.
  • Manage daily email correspondence, including sending and responding.
  • Handle invoicing and reconciliation tasks across various departments.
  • Foster and maintain strong vendor relationships.
  • Efficiently organize, sort, and file data codes.
  • Match credit card slips with corresponding bank statements.
  • Assist with the Point of Sale (POS) system and oversee Debtors accounts.
  • Support the online department by updating cost prices and stock balances.
