OUR CLIENT WITHIN THE MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY IS SEEKING A TECHNICAL BUYER IN KRUGERSDORP

Requirements:
- 3 years’ experience as a technical buyer in a Manufacturing / Mining environment
- Knowledge of materials, products, and the commodity market in area of specialization
- Technical knowledge/ identification of components used for underground mining equipment
- Skill in preparing and analyzing/ interpretation complex technical specifications/ engineering drawings
- Be experienced in the pricing of imported materials, customs procedures, shipping terms and clearance procedures.
- Knowledge of purchasing practices and procedures
- International imports experience essential
- Good Technical knowledge
- Exposure to supplier contracts
- Be experience in MRP
- Knowledge of Syspro would be an advantage
