FOOD AND BEVERAGE SUPERVISOR-CAFE DEPARTMENT (Upper Cape Town)

Popular tourist Site seeks a Food and Beverage Supervisor to support the role of the Assistant Food and Beverage Manager.

 

Key Responsibilities

Successful day to day running of all Food and Beverage outlets (FOH)

Organizing staff schedules

Completing TNA ensuring correct time sheets are handed in to HR for Payroll and delegating duties

Customer Care

Delegating duties to staff members

Performance Management

Inventory Management

Training staff members on Company and departmental procedures ensuring that all food safety standards are adhered to.

 

Qualifications and Technical and Functional knowledge and skills

A minimum of 2 years supervisory experience essential

Previous experience within a Restaurant, Hotel environment

Creative with strong merchandising skills

Service orientation

Strong planning and organizing ability

Ability to lead, motivate and develop a team of staff

Competent in Ms Word and Ms Excel at intermediate level

Previous experience in Food and Beverage POS systems, preferably MICROS essential

Good performance and attendance record

Own transport

 

Preference will be given to a black South African Females.
